Filming Instructions

1. CAMERA & FILMING: Film in Full HD (1080p) or 4K using a camera or smartphone, not a built-in computer camera. If using a phone, position it horizontally (landscape). Keep the camera lens at eye level, leave a small amount of headroom above your head (maximum ⅕ of the frame), and leave some distance between yourself and the background.

2. LIGHTING & BACKGROUND: Film with light in front of you, avoiding windows, neon, or strong lights behind you. Keep the background tidy and appropriate, with nothing visible that you do not want shown.

3. SOUND & LOCATION: Film in a quiet room without noticeable echo or background noise, and make sure your voice is clear. Use an external microphone if possible. Do not wear a headset or phone earphones/headphones.

4. EYE CONTACT & CONNECTION: Look directly at the camera lens rather than at yourself on screen. Make sure you have a strong, stable internet connection.

Screening Test Video

Interested participants should provide video footage showing themselves using the same setup, (including camera, background, audio, etc.) they intend to use during the recording. Applications submitted without a video will not be considered. Please select your chosen option.

The video test must be taken in the same location with the same equipment to be used on the filming day. Your video test will only be used for casting purposes and will never be shared. Applications without the screening test will not be considered.
